The face behind the posts

My name is Mary Elizabeth Butler, I am 20 years old and I am from North Haven, Connecticut.  I moved to Queens, NY in 2020 to pursue a Public Relations degree at St. John’s University.  I am currently in my third year balancing school with a position as a Call Center Representative for the company, Thermospas, as well as being an active member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority at SJU.  I aspire to graduate and fulfill a position in NYC that will incorporate my interests whether it be in the popular culture, fashion or the beauty industry.  I am driven by a mindset that is passionate about the importance of perception, growth, and constantly working towards becoming the best version of myself.  The way one chooses to perceive the world decides what’s given back to them.  I choose to perceive life with an open mind.  I live my days with each being a new learning opportunity, taking pride that I know listening equals learning and without change life becomes stagnant.  It is an unquenchable thirst, as the more I drink the thirstier I feel.
